The body's #1 job is to maintain homeostasis. Learn its language, trust its guidance, and find the clarity and enjoyment in dating you've been seeking.

This group is intended for

Do you find yourself deleting and re-downloading dating apps? Avoiding or dreading going on dates? Experiencing limerence or confusion about your body signals in comparison to your thoughts? Swinging between running full fledge towards or away from a spark? Are you feeling jaded about romance or losing trust in yourself or others? Do you struggle with managing frustration, disappointment, or rejection? Or do you just want to understand yourself more and leverage new tools to navigate the dating landscape with more joy and curiosity.

Wherever you’re at in the dating landscape, this group is for you! This group is for individuals seeking to shift how they engage in dating by focusing on their experience of connection with another. Society often prioritizes achieving outcomes and milestones in dating and relationships over teaching us to assess the quality and authenticity of our connections with others.

This group is designed for individuals ready to move beyond frustration and confusion, to reclaim their clarity, from a place of true confidence and trust, and find pleasure in creating connections.

Whether you’re navigating dating for the first time, recovering from past relationship patterns, or exploring non-traditional relationship styles like polyamory, this group offers a supportive space to intentionally dive deeper to reconnect with all parts of yourself and others. You’ll learn how to assess connection in real time, and choose your genuine self over what the outside world tells you you should be.

This group is particularly for those open to exploring the role of their body and somatic awareness in relationships. If you’ve ever felt disconnected from your body’s wisdom or stuck in a cycle of overthinking, this group can help you tune into your instincts and develop clarity in how you show up relationally.

Ultimately, it’s not just about dating—it’s about fostering a more authentic, aligned approach to relationships of all kinds.

You can expect

Build trust in yourself, reduce confusion, and approach connection with curiosity rather than fear. If you feel overwhelmed by dating, unsure about your instincts, or stuck in patterns that don’t serve you, this workshop offers the tools and insights to transform your experience.

In this group, you’ll:

- Communicate with your body’s signals: Learn to reduce real-time confusion by trusting your body’s reactions instead of overthinking situations. Somatic practices will help you align with your instincts and assess connection more effectively.

- Explore self-defeating beliefs: Identify the internal barriers and outdated narratives that may be holding you back in your pursuit of connection, and replace them with affirming, growth-oriented perspectives.

- Gain clarity through essential questions: Develop a framework of fundamental questions to ask yourself when dating, geared toward clarity and accountability. These insights can also be integrated into individual therapy for further progress.

- Identify relational flags: Learn to recognize red, yellow, orange, and green flags—both in yourself and others—to make more informed and confident choices in your relationships.

- Refine communication skills: Practice the art of fluid conversation, learn how to construct and use your dating profile effectively, and develop tools for authentic self-expression.

- Shift focus from outcomes to connection: Move away from societal pressures to achieve specific milestones and instead focus on assessing the quality of your connections in real-time.

Understand your relational patterns, strengthen your instincts, and build trust in your ability to form meaningful relationships. Approach dating and connection with greater clarity, confidence, and authenticity.

About Eden BellowLCSW Clinical Social Worker Therapist

group leader picture
I am currently dating and regularly use my dating philosophy and approach on myself. I go on an average of four dates a week, and I remain engaged, excited, and enjoying myself, which is a testament to my somatic dating approach. I embody the principles I teach and often share my own experiences to provide real-life examples for group participants.

Unlike many dating coaches, my therapeutic focus is on assessing connection. My passion for connection and self-awareness is rooted in my lifelong relationship with my own body. With a background as a dancer and martial artist, I’ve honed my ability to listen to and communicate through my body, which informs my unique approach to somatic work that I blend with coaching, talk therapy, and somatic techniques.

I’m deeply committed to creating an inclusive space that celebrates LGBTQIA+ identities and supports all relationship styles, including non-traditional and polyamorous connections. I believe in honoring the unique ways people form relationships, and I’m passionate about helping participants explore connection authentically and without judgment.

I bring playfulness, directness, authenticity, and thoughtfulness to helping others navigate the complexities of dating and relationships. My workshops offer a space to explore connection through a lens of curiosity and self-discovery, supported by my expertise and personal passion for the transformative power of somatics.
