my Story

Looking for a therapist is hard, right? So is being trapped in the cycle of bad habits, the spiral of regret, and the fear that you may never change. Not to mention, managing the pain that circumstances and social systems (capitalism, racism, patriarchy, etc.) can inflict no matter how much damn therapy we do. If you are reading this, you are already doing something difficult. And good things are on the other side of difficult. Anyone who wants to do the hard work of good therapy can change. You are not broken. You are not a burden. And I would love to listen and help you build a better life. It's my passion to use my education, experience, metaphors, humor, reliability, and honesty to help understand who you are, why, and what you want to become. With a combo of mindfulness, somatic, humanistic, existential & creative tools, we can get to know you, how your body is managing your feelings, and practice liking you a little more. Our relationship is collaborative. We are navigating life on wavy seas. The goal of therapy is not to stop the waves of life but to learn how to surf them. I am passionate about discovering the best way for you, specifically, to manage the anxiety, and frequent systemic unfairness, of being alive. I look forward to connecting to see if we vibe.
