Who this group is for
This group is for anyone looking for support around their work. Whether you've been in practice for 2 years or 25 years, it can always be refreshing to hear the perspective of another clinician.
What to expect
The two hour structure and four participant cap will allow each person 30 minutes for consultation on their case. The shared group experience allows you to hear the work that others are doing and can make the cost of supervision more accessible.
I'm a clinical counselor with a master's degree in art therapy. I've been in practice for 25 years and held some type of supervisory role for 20. My career started with 11 years in foster care, working in private practice on the side. I then transitioned to be the Clinical Director of a group practice serving the queer community before starting my solo practice. In these roles, I also functioned as a trainer on topics including, trauma, creative approaches to therapy, understanding of systems and human development on clinical practice, and therapist self-care.
My consultation style is collaborative and exploratory, not directive. I enjoy using metaphor and image to conceptualize what may be happening and I like to inquire about your authentic reactions to the client.
I work from an IFS, somatic, and spiritual based model and conceptualize the work through identity, trauma, systemic, and developmental lenses.
