This group is intended for those seeking to improve their relationships outside of the group, via communication, insight and emotional processing that takes place inside the group - particularly for those who have found it difficult to express themselves authentically in the moment.
What to expect
All group members must be committed to the instrumental goal of working towards expressing all their thoughts and feelings as they occur within the group. This may be easier for some than others, and individuals are sure to move with different paces. However, all are encouraged to work towards this goal because the way in which members can learn the most in a group is by being honest and direct with their feelings in the group in that moment, especially those feelings toward the other group members and the therapist.
Brad has been helping individuals deepen their awareness of self for many years. Particularly interested in the conflicts which impede one's ability to have successful relationships, achieve one's goals or finally gain some clarity into why certain patterns persist in one's life, Brad carefully explores the origin of the problem and how it impacts his clients in present day.
Group psychotherapy can feel challenging, especially when we encounter thoughts and feelings that are triggering. Brad possesses a unique combination of warmth and intelligence that puts his clients at ease and makes the working through of a problem possible. Brad supports adults who feel anxious, depressed or unclear about whether or not "having more in life" is truly possible.
