Who this group is for
The guided inner journey experience is for anyone looking to strengthen their connection to the Divine and to build their resources as their own healer. It is for people wanting to reflect inward and move into deeper relationship with spiritual forms of healing and expansion. This group requires no special skills, no previous experience with journeying, and no religious affiliation. All you need is the openness to explore and/or receive. No matter what happens for you during this group, it is a teaching.
What to expect
The experience will start with a brief check in and an explanation of the journeying framework. The journey begins with you finding a place of comfort in the room where you will then offered an opportunity to relax into the body and allow the mind to rest as you move into a space of creative imagination. There is no way to do this wrong, as there are no expected outcomes. Any experiences had are there to help you connect with yourself or part of you that may be resistant. After the journey you will have time for independent reflection/journaling/art making followed an opportunity to share your experience with the group as a form of integration. The group will close with a brief check out.

Throughout my life, my connection to the Divine has been a source of support, and as with all long standing relationships, it has changed as I have changed. It has grown from the structured religion of my childhood to the expansiveness of sensing the Divine in all things. At times the support has been unconscious, as I've felt guided by intuition or synchronicities too wild to ignore, other times, the support I've received has been intention and sought by me.
My introduction to journeying started 7 years ago in a women's group, where to be honest, I always fell asleep. My practice continued as I worked with a number of different shamans who taught me to trust in myself, my experience, and my unique relationship with the Divine.
In my over 20 years experience as a psychotherapist, I have found that connection to something greater than yourself in an untapped resource, and I'm grateful to my teachers for providing me with a resource to share with others beyond my work as a psychotherapist.
