I take a non-pathologizing, liberatory, feminist approach to therapy. I work with somatic and body-based practices, mindfulness guidance, ecotherapy, and EMDR, alongside more conversational therapy. My approach honors that our bodies hold stories of pain, stress, and trauma, alongside pleasure, desire, and wonder. I support clients in finding feelings of safety and presence in their bodies, at their pace, while inviting the stories their bodies hold to be told.
In deepening our connections to our bodies/selves, we grow our capacities to connect to others and to community. Together in therapy, we honor the pain that’s present and uncover possibilities for space to move with, within, through, and outside of that pain.
In addition to my passion for working with the LGBTQ+ community, I am dedicated to supporting people of all genders navigating chronic pelvic pain conditions. I am committed to being as well-educated as possible about these conditions, treatments, providers able to treat, and sexual health more generally. My body holds its own stories of chronic pelvic pain, which informs why and how I do this work.
