Who this group is for

This group is for any adolescent girl, trans or nonbinary teen ages 11-14 who is struggling socially or emotionally in middle and early high school. No matter their background, this is a safe space to talk about what's going on each week, build skills, tools and real connections to navigate life more successfully.

Open to residents of California

What to expect

This group firmly believes in respecting diversity including differences in race, gender identity, neuro and physical ability, economic background and life experiences. All of our differences make our group stronger! We expect each member to participate by sharing, listening and supporting one another. I will go through a more thorough discussion of expectations in the intake appointment but these are the main points!

Hi, I’m Cristina Lugo, LCSW Therapist for teens and non-binary youth. I’ve spent 15 years specializing in teen girls struggling with anxiety, depression, emotional challenges impacting education, relational challenges with friends and family and basically most issues that could impact a young person. I’ve been in your shoes before, seeking therapy as an adolescent. It’s now my mission to provide the type of therapy young people deserve.
