This workshop is tailored for individuals who identify as neurodivergent (ie; autistic folks, ADHD, AuDHD, and OCD) and are exploring the interplay between their neurodivergence and past trauma. Participants may find themselves questioning whether certain experiences or behaviors stem from their neurodivergent nature or from the lingering effects of trauma. Together, we'll explore these complexities, challenge myths and misunderstandings, and gain clarity on diagnostic criteria and trauma healing specific to neurodivergent individuals. Ideal participants are those committed to understanding and navigating the intersection of neurodivergence and trauma, with a goal of enhancing their overall well-being. This workshop is not suitable for individuals seeking crisis intervention or those who prefer a more general therapeutic approach without a focus on neurodivergence and trauma.

I'm a licensed mental health counselor with lived experience at the intersections of neurodivergence, disability, transness, and survivorship. I have been educating, speaking, and counseling around these topics for the past 6 years; throughout my masters program, within community and private practice spaces, and independently. My lived experience at these critical intersections enhances my ability to create a safe, empathetic, and understanding environment for group participants. My credentials, combined with my personal insights and professional training, uniquely qualify me to guide others in thinking about and making sense of these complex topics.
