my Story
Do you find yourself caring for everyone else but struggling to extend that same compassion to yourself? You may look calm and capable on the outside, yet inside feel anxious, drained, or weighed down by self-criticism. Therapy with me is a space to finally put that weight down. As a bilingual Latina psychologist, I understand how culture, identity, and intergenerational experiences shape emotional well-being. I help thoughtful, high-achieving women, BIPOC, and queer individuals heal from the effects of trauma, people-pleasing, and chronic self-doubt. My approach blends evidence-based treatments (CBT, DBT, ACT) with mindfulness and a relational-psychodynamic framework helping you develop insight and coping skills for meaningful, lasting change. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that keep you stuck, understand where they come from, and develop tools to rebuild self-trust and confidence. Clients describe my style as warm, collaborative, and gently challenging. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe, focusing on agency, self-compassion, and empowerment. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you; it’s about feeling safe enough to reconnect with yourself.
