my Story
Ari Lewis has helped many men with out of control sexual behavior (AKA "sex addiction). He received 5 years of training in this area at the Sexuality, Attachment, and Trauma Project. Before his time at the SAT Project, Ari earned a Master of Applied Positive Psychology (focused on Positive Sexuality) at the University of Pennsylvania. He went on to earn two master's degrees in Counseling Psychology along with an Advanced Certificate in Sexuality and Gender, focused on Consensual Non-Monogamy, from Columbia University.
Ari has published his own treatment model for addressing compulsive sexual behavior ("sex addiction") in the Routledge publication of Positive Sexuality (edited by Williams & Prior). In addition to his work as a psychotherapist, Ari serves as the University of Pennsylvania's Senior Research Specialist studying Sexual Well-Being.
